We expect more than 4\,000 professionals who are active in the field of implant dentistry to attend. A mobile app will make it easy to discover like-minded individuals and connect. The areas outside of the plenary hall provide ample venues to share a cup of coffee or tea. A highlight will be the official Straumann party on Friday night. It is the perfect place to network in a relaxed and casual atmosphere – perhaps even on the dance floor. \nRegister Here: https://worldsymposium.iti.org/ \nSpeakers\nGiovanni Zucchelli\nMarlene Teo\nDaniel Thomas\nHom-lay Wang\nLorenzo Tavelli\nAnton Sculean\nIstvan Urban\nMauricio Araujo\nLuca de Stavola\nJuan Blanco\nTara Aghaloo\nEik Schiegnitz\nWaldemar Polido\nDaniel Buser\nAdam Hamilton\nVivianne Chappuis\nEduardo Lorenzana\nFrance Lambert\nShakeel Shahdad\nIrena Sailer\nHaakon Kuit\nPhilip Tan\nStephen Chen\nAli Tahmaseb\nPanos Papaspyridakos\nTim Joda\nWael Att\nMaja Chmielewska\nDaniel Wismeijer \nOrganizer/Event registration\nITI International Team for Implantology\nITI Headquarters Peter Merian-Weg 10\n4052 Basel\nSwitzerland\nPhone: ++41 (0)61 / 270 83 83\nFax: ++41 (0)61 / 270 83 84\nEmail: education@iti.org\nWeb: http://www.iti.org

Originally an online service\, CeoDental sought the best speakers on the international lecture circuit and recorded their lecture for viewing over the internet. \n\n\n\nAt the time\, the format was cutting edge and well advanced in comparison to any other online education service. The innovative format allowed users of the website to view the full powerpoint presentations (in dual slide format) of the speakers\, together with the audio and video of the speaker presenting the lecture\, as well as a written transcript of the spoken words. Users did not even need broadband access to see the presentations and CPD points were awarded from the State University of New York at Buffalo. \n\nDr Didier Dietschi\nDr Didier Dietschi graduated from the University of Geneva Dental School\, Switzerland\, in 1984\, where he completed specialty training in periodontology and restorative dentistry. He held the positions of assistant\, lecturer\, and senior lecturer at the same university\, where he received his doctoral title in 1988 under the supervision of Prof Jacques Holz and a Privat-Docent degree in 2004. He earned his PhD in 2003 at the Academic Centre for Dentistry in Amsterdam\, Netherlands\, under the guidance of Prof Carel Davidson. In 1990\, he started a part-time practice in a private office in Geneva limited to esthetic restorative dentistry with a focus on soft tissue management and implantology. Since 2005\, he has held the position of adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University (USA) and maintained his part-time senior lecturer position at the University of Geneva in the Department of Cariology and Endodontics headed by Prof Ivo Krejci. Dr Dietschi has won numerous awards for his contributions to adhesive restorative dentistry. He is an active lecturer author\, journal reviewer\, and industry consultant and has contributed to significant improvements in the field of composite shading with the development of the so-called “Natural Layering Concept”. He coauthored the book Adhesive Metal-Free Restorations\, edited in 1997 by Quintessence and translated into seven languages. Dr Dietschi is internationally acclaimed for his theoretical and practical teaching programs focused on adhesive and esthetic restorations with the integration of scientific evidence and implementation of new technologies in the field of minimally invasive esthetic dentistry applied to the restorations of anterior and posterior teeth. \nOrganiser:\n \n
